Overview

"Marketplace" is the page, and it hosts four tabs that each do a different job. They're siblings โ€” none of them is a sub-feature of another. If you've heard Matters described as "part of Community+," that's not quite right: Matters sits right next to the Community+ feed tab, not inside it.

Why the page is often just called "Community+": Community+ was the first tab built, so the name stuck as shorthand for the whole marketplace page in some places (like the nav link). The tab itself is a narrower thing โ€” just the money-request feed.

The Four Tabs

Reporting & Blocking

Two separate tools keep Community+, Matters, and Circles usable โ€” this applies across all of them, not just one tab.

๐Ÿšซ

Block

Immediately hides a member's posts from you. Private โ€” the blocked member is not notified, and it doesn't affect anyone else's feed.

๐Ÿšฉ

Report

Flags a post or comment for admin review โ€” for spam, scams or misleading claims, harassment, being off-topic, or another concern.

๐Ÿค–

AI-assisted triage

New reports are triaged by an AI reviewer. It can only auto-dismiss low-stakes reports (like spam or off-topic) and only at high confidence. Anything that could mean hiding someone's content always requires a human admin to act.

Post text and names for Circles, Funds, and Susu cycles are also checked for "loan," "lend," and "borrow" language as you type โ€” Garder uses support language throughout, and the platform will ask you to rephrase with a suggested alternative before you can submit.

FAQ

Is Matters part of Community+?

No. They're sibling tabs on the same marketplace page. Matters just sits next to the Community+ feed, not inside it.

Do Funds and Support Offers show inside the Community+ feed?

A Fund can also be cross-posted as an announcement into the Community+ feed if its owner chooses to share it there, but Funds and Support Offers are still their own separate tabs โ€” the cross-post is just visibility, not nesting.

What's the difference between blocking and reporting?

Blocking is personal and immediate โ€” it just hides that member's content from your own feed. Reporting sends the content to admin review and can result in it being hidden platform-wide.

Can an AI hide my post?

No. The AI reviewer can only auto-dismiss low-stakes reports like spam โ€” any action that would actually hide content requires a human admin to click the button.
